sounds like plantar fasciitis. You might want to get a night splint to wear while you’re sleeping.

todieandwither January 23, 2008 at 3:54 pm

you say “sit on a ball instead of a chair” as if a real office would ever let you have that option.

todieandwither January 23, 2008 at 3:57 pm

get in shape for your loved one? aren’t you perpetuating poor body image and low self esteem issues by telling people to get in shape for anyone other than themselves.

sounds irresponsible and like a supermarket tabloid ploy.

i work at a law firm and they would have no problems with that.

You’re going to distract so many coworkers with your sexy workouts, Sarah. :)

What, you’d like the alternative; “Just keep that fat flabby shape, I’m sure your other-half would REALLY prefer you with a 20kg extra”. I’m sure if we had an honest choice, would we prefer a slim, healthy spouse or a fat slob… it’s not a hard question. (OK, excl those with health problems, injuries blah blah blah)

where did u get those shoes?

diethealth January 28, 2008 at 12:37 pm

Sarah thinks that she got them at Thom Brown but may have gotten them at Jasmine Sola which is now closed. Both of which are located on Newbury Street in Boston, MA.

ROFL
I was just trying to imagine where I keep the ball in the office… Besides, have you any idea what any boss over here would do to you if they saw you wasting 30 minutes twice a day doing workouts? You’d loose weight that way, because the money for food would stop pretty quick… :)

weedge123 February 20, 2008 at 5:51 pm

damn i wish i was that bottle2

canigian February 26, 2008 at 10:59 am

crap on the bottle.. I’d like to be the ball

INOSH22 November 4, 2008 at 6:50 pm

I’m a Media Editor for a small e-learning company and they bought the ball for me. Doing my “deskercises” doesn’t interrupt my work at all, I can do them WHILE I work. After sitting in an office chair for 6 months my core had gotten soft and my back was killing me, I would wake up in the morning and couldn’t inhale without pain. The CEO uses one and he told me that the company would reimburse me if I purchased one.

And, unless you’re doing them in a skirt, what can they do? Fire you? Doubt it.

JOEisc00l May 14, 2009 at 10:00 am

man this is for personal trainers offices..i cant keep no dam ball in my office

johnny102marvin June 6, 2009 at 10:34 pm

You have a nice speaking voice. You should mention simple range of motion exercises with all limbs at all joint areas. Anything you do with weights you can just about do as a range of motion exercise sitting in an office chair: curls, deltoid military press without weights, calve raises, neck exercises, etc. You can also do some resistance training by using one arm to restrain the other arm as you take it through a range of motion. Why don’t you make a exercise with Sarah video for YouTube

gentamasu July 20, 2009 at 12:18 pm

please tell at my boss if i can introduce in my office that ball…
